Sat in the park just the other day   Saw little children about their way   The innocence mirrored in a little face   Took me back far away      Remembered when I was about that small   The park looked the same, but the trees seemed tall   Running and playing was my big concern   It took a while taking in it all   It took me back, far away   So long ago, to another time - another place      Seems so long ago -ah- long ago      I can see mom and dad and the house we had   Trees in the yard and how dad worked so hard   The good times we shared and how much they cared   Mom's great smile - how she wouldn't cry   All they did to make us grow   Love and strong - to not do wrong      Seems so long ago
