i've never seen the great divide   i've seen no grand division   there's never been a great reward   i've made no grand decision   without some heat to hold   into love's deep confusion   and now a feat so bold   could be our cold conclusion   no way(weight) to bear, no one to lean on,   the weight is fair, you feel it to believe it   a simple gift a simple mind   not to unwit(?) or to be too unkind   but what is intended to, can only end a certain way..   and what is intended to, can always change with what you say..   and not that i'm ready, ready for the cold   a tale will be told, a tale will be told over a feat so bold..
