I'm driving down the "Back Alley"
AKA the 91 to the 909
Following the lead of my herbal pharmascist
Ho hooked the green hydropincally and sunkissed
Roots blaring out of his Cadillac
While Echo and The Bunnymen jammed with my ragtop down
I just went there for my green supply
He showed me something new said "Wanna try?"
"Just Say No" was never my par for the course
So I hopped onto Henry the proverbial White Horse
He held my arm like a Punk Rock Nurse
I slipped away into Nirvana, but worse yet...
He said "I gotta go, my roommate is due..."
I floated to my car, I drove around this suburbia
Lake Elsinore - a blur it was
Vomiting, gazing, singing like I was in church
In my mustang, I was perched
Vomiting, crying, feeling abandoned
I'll never do THAT one again!
I thought my pharmacist was my friend
He punctured me and left me to courts, the circles and the avenues
In a naked lunch soup
I didn't know what to do
So I parked on Timber Lane
Is there pleasure to be found when your going insane
I thought "No Man! I understand why the H is shady
I've never been so faded"
At that moment, I pledged my steed to the weed
A needle doesn't need to key my arm to set off the alarms
And don't count on Punk Rock Nurses
They might double, driving Herses....
