so the trouble starts as I look up and see   I stop dead in my tracks   seems that there is someone watching   but she could tell when i was looking at her   i'm not ashamed to say   was whenever my eyes were open   her ocean blue eyes once have stared at me before   time swallows up the sand   she stares in my direction, yeah   i think she's got a guy   that's never stopped me before   but it won't happen again   i swear those glasses keep me guessing   well is she looking at me   now i can't tell   i really can't be sure   but i'll still stare back at her   so i end up staring into artificial lenses staring black   a frame and two more eyes come between us   hell, i don't know if she intended to stop   the only hope i had left   i've lost i'm sure she has the upper hand now   her ocean blue eyes once have stared at me before   time swallows up the sand   she stares in my direction, yeah   i think she's got a guy   but something's stopping me more   and it won't happen again   i swear that last glance kept me guessing   well was she looking at me   now i can't tell    i really can't be sure
