there's a lizard   crawling down my right arm   I think it's trying to reach   the apple I'm spinning on my fingertip      I care not where it ends up   apple or lizard   all I worry about   is close friends giving birth      I'm really struggling   to wrap my head around   the idea that someone my age   is birthing right now      I care not where it ends up   apple or baby   I want to be tied up   infant, lizard and me
