A car drives down the street and then my radio turns on   Thoughts of future thoughts of past my concentration gone   Where did all the simple go? It seems it is not there   God creates me, I turn away, for God this is not fair   Am I learning how to let it go and leave it all behind?   Oh God of this universe please speak into my mind      Why do I always feel stupid    When I can't see You, when I can't feel You?   On my knees I feel so much stronger   I know You're here Lord, Help me to hear Your voice      A void of silence fills the night but not within my mind   I only feel further away, almost as if I'm blind   There's something I'm holding back, just on the tip of my tongue   This could take a long, long time so I'm glad that I'm still young   Look at my face and tell me what you see   These are the eyes of a slave who's been set free   Everything else fails me over again   I look to Jesus, Savior and Best friend   How long will this time be?    How long till the day?   Jesus steal my stress away
