Woke up early one morning, looked over at the time  The phone was ringin', said it better be a good one this time  Said hello when I picked up the phone, no sound reached my mind  I thought great, I got woke up, and there was no one on the line    A perfect time  Where everything's gone wrong but it turns out right  And everything's so messed up but it's a sweeter life  It feels so nice, it feels so nice  Well it's just something like that    I was walking to the store to spend a hard-earned dime  I had to find something to get my mind off the lack of sleep I had last night  Over by the sewer grate, I just happened to trip  The dime fell from my hands and through the bars of the grate it slipped    A perfect time  Where everything's gone wrong but it turns out right  And everything's so messed up but it's a sweeter life  It feels so nice, it feels so nice  Well it's just something like that
