i came over in the dark i was saying things    and some had many meanings    black and broken all apart    pounding out the cobwebs   might have made more problems    and we might have started    what would fall apart    but you forget about your heart.   analyzing every part, figured every root and missed the mark to boot   icy looks, boring books    every place you went were hooks    only in the dark you played a beat and stole a spark    but stunts and showmanship and codes   were what you thought of art    so you forget about your heart.
