reiterating things in past tense with the sound of your voice penetrating my thoughts and dreams, i look for a way out but there is nowhere to run. i cant stand to hear it anymore, the way it hurts and burns inside, like a fire begging to be put out. i lay here choking on my insides. as i stare up at the sky, crying out your name because i am drowning in my own blood... blood that i have shed with your words. i dare not ask you why, you've led me on like this. no way we can bring it back, those moments will last forever. as long as you keep calling my name out to the heavens with that look in your eyes the night will never fade. that worried look in your eyes begging me to come back to the way i used to be, the way i can never be again. too much has happened since then. Imprinted in the back of my mind like a wax seal on the letter that never got to you. i cant keep sending this to you, i cant keep doing this to myself. the way you slit my wrists with your words, i can't even see it.
