I close my eyes. I fear it would be the last time.   In my dreams I have seen where my lies are leading me   Darkest figures stand before me. I’ve drawn my curtains down.   I lack the luxury of friends and enemies      You cast your light on me, but the shadows still remain.   In the absence of light, darkness prevails.      This last moment of solitude, in my thoughts I’m still awake.   I’ve burned my past in flames of bitterness.
