What is she doing   Am I as nervous as I should be   We've known eachother for years   But this date is filling me with fears   Will she care if I say something dumb   Or will she just like me anyway I come   I take a short glance at the clock   30 minutes left until our date   She's probably already ready    I'm still trying to decide what I'll wear   My body is so tense my heart is beatign so fast   Nothing in my closet is good enough for her   Nothing exsists in this world good enough for her   So how do I expect to impress this girl   Should I just throw in the towel and give up   Or instead get ready for her beauty and suck it up   One last glance at the clock    Only 10 minutes left   I grab the shirt she bought for my birthday a week ago   And throw it on myself   Give a little pep talk on the way out   There is abosolutley nothing to worry about
