Transfixed by a girl   Who's smoking out her window   As sun falls all about her      On the second floor.   She's all resplendent glory.   If i spoke to her she'd bore me.      Watching my one mind   Glisten in the sunlight   Ringing like soft bells   Tumbling from the cracked lines   Lacing sky, I know I'm all right,   No i'm not going out tonight.      It's always hard to let go the first dozen or so times   Until you realize that you'll fly instead of fall.
