to see your   eyes beading behind the glass   to feel the   dismay heavy on your heart   from inside your cage      you don't deserve this   captivity all the life you have   not much of a life at all      but do you know anything greater?   can you fathem more to the world?   (i know you can / understand)   though you've never seen it before   though you're held in these borders      shamed and repressed   devalued. locked in a box (to spend your life)   that gleam in the corner of your eyes (vacant stare of not being here)   makes it apparent that a hope lives on (in your heart, your tears: hope lives on)   never abandon the faith; your faith grows stronger (in your heart, your tears: hope makes you strong)      hope and dream and never forget your dream and one day your eyes will find you outside the hold      (i know you can / understand) i feel you
