spare a thought for me because i see the things   that you don't see and that can make things hard   because your ignorance is bliss sometimes i wish   i could be just like you sometimes i wish i could   be just like you happy in your blindness happy in   your youth. so when i doubt it all i am comforted   by looking in your eyes so beautiful and blind   and your lips so pretty and so dumb. happy in   your blind truth. so numb so dumb so could you   teach me to be happy? could you teach me to be you?   so could you teach me to be happy? could you teach   me to be you? happy in your blindness happy in   your youth.
