i remember when the creek was my home   chasing muskrats in the fall   and i just knew i could fly   if i could wave my hands fast enough       the day was long i wish i was young again   chasing butterflies in the spring   when dad and i would kneel and pray at night   and mom would take me on a bike ride      i remember when i was batman   protecting my home from cobra commander   and secret passages were in my back yard   right behind the big cedar tree
