I've let cleaning the house go oh so completely   Ever since I met you I've been daydreaming   And if I get stressed out   About the state of things I lay face down on the couch   And listen to the things you've said   on a tape player in my head   (chorus) and I don't know what I'm going to do   stacks fall over the clutter is askew   my library books are all overdue   the milk is sour the bread is blue   and all I know is that I'm going through the adolescent maze that's surrounding you and surrounding me   if I could just calm down sometime when you were around you'd see that I'm not so bad   maybe crazy but just a tad
