I hope you never    have to live my life   I hope you never    have to feel my pain      Element'ry school was a blast   everyone knew how to act   Our parents controlled   our social lives   All we had to do   was stay away from knives      I hope you never   have to live my life   I hope you never   have to feel my pain      Then came Middle school   when that kid became an ass   My friendships    were all broken   I became an outcast   Moving from click to click   I tried to fit in   But all that   doesn't matter now   Because 8th grade's   in the past      I hope you never   have to live my life   I hope you never   have to feel my pain      High school rolled in   but things didn't get better   I joined the soccer team   and got beat up at every game   Sophomore year I almost lost it   I was pushed way too far   The constant mocking   I couldn't take it   Summer was all that saved me,   kept me from that dreaded fate      I hope you never   have to live my life   I hope you never   have to feel my pain      Junior year was surprising,   things looked up in every way   I had a date to the prom   She became my girl   and I met her mom   Summer came, she left for camp   I got a job and made some cash   I wrote her letters   and she wrote back   but when she returned    it was with a slash      I hope you never   have to live my life   I hope you never   have to feel my pain      She said she couldn't   do the girlfriend thing   She said she couldn't    be with me   I told her that    i would deal with it   but it's so much worse    than i ever thought      I hope you never   have to live my life   I hope you never   have to feel my pain      Now Senior year is about to start   Another 10 months until next summer   I hope that i can make it through   I pray that things will go my way   Growing up is so painful   A childhood full of tears   But it all leads up to one big moment   when i'll become an adult in years   All that pain will bring compassion   All that hate will turn to grief   And I'll be filled with sympathy   for all those people who ever hurt me   then I'll know that I've done my best   and I'll pity those that did any less      I wish that you   could live my life   I wish that you   could feel my pain      It would make us all   much better people,   Let his childhood be our teacher,   If we would all not   be such users and   Live the life of that   School Boy Loser
