despair is simple    plagued with suffering    we fall into this so easily   it's known to us    a presence everlasting    from the moment a child first cries   a constant struggle    that is this life unfolds   ushering towards an ending unchangeable   powerless    and out of control    we always find its in the back of our mind   lurking in the shadows    waiting to possess    its grip is tight, its bond is endless   a surrounding hole    filled with tragedy   we fall into this too easily   don't try to bring me down    the lowest low i'm in right now   the darkness i dwell, my eternal cell   trapped inside a state i hate    this emotion suffocates   spirit is broken, all words spoken   a pain burns deep inside    eclipsing the brighter side   today is sorrow, same tomorrow   overwhelmed by the burden of life    nothing is ever right   soul beyond repair bringing   despair
