MADRAS HOTEL Eminence, the sister branch of MADRAS HOTEL Tekka is a 30 rooms setup ideally located in the central part of the city. For a midnight shopping experience, take a cool night walk to the nearby 24 hours Mustafa Shopping Centre where you can find all sort of merchandise on the shelves. For electronics and IT products, you can visit the Sim Lim Tower and the Sim Lim Square which is 3 bus stops away from the Hotel. Fitness & exercise facilities such as an Olympic size swimming pool, running tracks, squash, tennis courts etc are available at the nearby Jalan Besar Stadium.

Products & Services


Our rooms are fully carpeted with attached hot /cold shower and individual room controlled air-conditioning system. Color television and DVD player is provided in every room for the entertainment of the guests and we are in the process of negotiating with the service provider for cable programs. Local calls and Zone 1511 budget IDD calls can be made directly from the room telephone system. Wi fi internet access is available throughout the hotel for guests with their own laptops, otherwise a complimentary 15 mins of high speed internet usage is available daily for all guests at our internet corner on the lobby floor.

Other essential services such as photocopying, local and oversea fax facilities, self service coin operated launderette, hot /cold drinking water are available at the lobby floor. Additional electrical appliances like the mini bar fridge can be arrange in the room at minimal cost but iron and hairdryer are available free upon request. Facilities such as safety lockers for personal items are available at our front desk. Baggage storage facilities without charge are available to guests who need to be away for a few days.
To cater to the need of our in house guests and our neighboring hotels guests, we have recently set up MADRAS TOURS & TRAVEL to provide a one stop facility for tourist information, air ticketing, local tours and outbound tours package.
