Best known as the shanghainese cuisine amongst many, Nanxiang has quickly took the Singapore food scene by storm within a couple of months. Expect the usual xiaolongbao and fried rice typical of chinese food, but they come in large xiaolongbao with a straw attached to the opening. So if you really love xiaolongbao and wish to drink it from a straw, come on down to try it at Nanxiang now.
Vegetable pork rice, a more healthier choice to everyone.
My second visit to this chinese restaurant. This time round i decided to try one of their noodles dish.Have tried their fried noodles and it was served to me less than ten minutes. The noodes are really chewy and soft. The dark sauce used in cooking the noodles is very fragrant and not too salty.Even though this dish does not have lots of ingredients in it, but the taste is good enough to satisfy you and the portion is also quite generous too!
This chinese restaurant does serve some really special dim sums which I have never try from elsewhere.Such as their glutinuous rice dumplings which are really small and cute, which is filled with generous amount of dark soya sauce glutinuous rice in it.The dumpling skin is thin and smooth which is quite easy to eat. With the combination of the glutinuous rice, it tastes just like eating a bowl of rice but is only in the much smaller version, and also very costly too which two pieces are near to four dollars per plate.
This rice may look like the usual fried rice which you can from anywhere, but the taste is even better and is a more healthier choice to everyone too. Pan fried slice pork are added in the rice which are chewy and not too oily. The rice has been cooked with lots of fresh chopped celery and green vegetables which really added the nutritious value to this dish.Even though no fanciful ingredients are found in it, the quality of this dish already has won the hearts from the regular customers.
This meat balls from this chinese restaurant will certainly delight your view pleasure and at the same time on your taste buds too.The juicy pork meat in it is really tender and mixed with several chopped ingredients such as the carrot, onions parleys to enhance the taste. The gravy used in this dish is also sweet and not too salty.Best to eat with plain fragrant rice or even on its own.
Not only their different ranges of steamed buns are well known in this chinese restaurant, here is also well known for their signature hainanese chicken as well. The presentation already win the hearts of their regular patrons and smells really fragrant as well. The chicken meat is tender and juicy, and love those really smooth glossy chicken skin which taste very delicious too.It is not too oily and great to eat it with a bowl of rice as well.
We didn\'t have the original steamed bun this time, but instead, we ordered the vegetable and pork filling steamed bun ($7.3). The filling is well-seasoned and generally tastes pretty good, but I personally will still prefer the original steamed bun with the rich flavour fragrant oil.Stir-fried green bean noodles with crab roe ($13.3) is a must-try I reckon! The crab roe gravy is so strong of the fresh seafood flavour, the green bean noodles has a kuey teow texture, but lighter and thinner. Thumbs up!
As Chinese, we cannot eat without noodles and buns which are our forefathers\' main source of food input, especially the northerners in ancient China. Nanxiang\'s steamed buns are awesome. They tasted so refreshing when eating with ginger and soy sauce. A must to try at the restaurant. The noodles which signify longevity is a chief source of carbohydrates besides rice in Asian society. Nanxiang\'s noodles is freshly man-made by the chefs everday, no wonder they tasted so satisfying in our mouths. Another must-try cuisine at Nanxiang without a doubt.Spending: Approximately SGD 20(Dinner)
bought some vouchers for big deal.sg so decided to have some dim sum at nanxiang restaurant . the restaurant had wide variety of items e.g from dim sum to rice , noddles, side dishes etc they are famous for steamed pork buns , chicken and pork rib soup, golden fried rice etc so we decided to order steamed pork buns , chicken and pork rib soup, etc the steamed pork buns were served hot , the juice for the buns was juicy , the skin is softand the pork taste nice the chicken and pork rib soup is refreshing , not very oily
Their food serving size is smaller as compared to Crystal Jade, thus a little pricey too. If you love drunken chicken, try theirs! If you love hot and sour soup base, try their hot and spicy lamian! If you wanna try dry lamian, their lion-head balls lamian with sesame oil is a must try! If you love to drink soup from bao and xiao long bao\'s soup is too little, try their giant one!
This is a shanghainese restaurant. The must try dish is of course their Steamed bun (xiao long bao). It consists of meat and soupinside. There are 8 different fillings to choose from. They have Fresh pork filling, Crab meat & pork filling, Mushrooms, Vegetable & pork filling, Shrimp & pork filling, Crab roe & Pork Filling, Crab roe, Shark fin & Pork Filling flavours. The price range is from $6.00 to $12.80 for 6 pcs. You can even try the King size steamed bun. I love the soup in the steamed bun. It is very fresh and light. Before you eat the bun, you can create a small hole in the bun first, then drink the soup. After that, you can enjoy the steamed bun with the filling. The skin of the bun is quite thin too. I love their Golden fried rice too. It is topped with lots of floss as you can see from the photo itself. The rice is fried till fragrant. Their wasabi prawns is good. The prawns are very springy and the wasabi sauce is fantastic. Its not overpowering. I love their osmanthus flower sticky cake. It has the fragrance of the flowers and taste good when you eat it cold. Try out their golden pumpkin cake. Its good too! Overall, I like the food over there. Highly recommended for their steamed buns & dim sum.
I went to nanxiang with my girlfriend, we were feeling like gluttons after we left cos we ordered simply a lot of food. we ordered the drunken chicken, jelly fish with spicy vinegar, crab meat and pork filling xiao long bao, salted vegetable duck soup and their shanghai fried rice with chicken chop. Starting off with the drunken chicken, it was so good, the meat was so tender, the gravy was very tasty and fragrant. The jelly fish with spicy vinegar tasted very unique, I was not really a fan of jellyfish but this was pretty good, it was kind of sourish and the jellyfish was crunchy and chewy. The xiao long bao was excellent, the filling and soup was kind of sweetish because of the crab meat. The salted vegetable soup went really well with the rice, it had a fusion of flavours from salty to sourish to sweetish. It was really good. The best of all with the shanghai fried rice with chicken chop. The fried rice was so fragrant, I love the eggy taste. It went so well with the chicken chop, the chicken chop was very crispy and the meat was very tender and juicy. A filling meal it was.
Lion Head meatballs (as shown in the picture) is one of their signature dish.Very huge in size and the pork meat in it is firm and tender.Would be better if it can be fry to crispy. The fried rice here is quite fragrant but no much x-factor on itas the ingredients in it are simple .The service here is alright and would be better if they can be more alert when topping up the hot tea and clearing of dirty plates on our tables.Did not try other dishes as prices are sort of high and not too affordable.Spending: Approximately SGD 25(Lunch)
I visited nanxiang with my best friend the other day. She was craving for xiao long bao and we happened to be at bugis so we hopped on down to the bugis branch. We each ordered a main course and shared a long of xiao long bao. I ordered their signature zha jiang mian. Their zha jiang mian was really good. The noodles were very chewy and it does not stick to the teeth. The meat sauce was really delicious, it was very tasty, not too salty. The meat they used were very fresh and the portion of the meat sauce was just right. The xiao long bao tasted really good. I simply love the soup instead. The skin was not too thick but it could withstand the pressure of the grip of my chopstick. It was a very hearty meal.
The setting surprised me, because the restaurant looked quite "posh" from the outside. It\'s an all-white, more disorganized version of Hans -- not the place to take someone you want to impress. The food was served Luke-warm, not hot, as you would expect. The limelight is the salted egg prawns, it tasty just right. We didn\'t fuss, because we were there to chat and catch-up. Food was secondary. Service was good. As the restaurant was highlighting its dim-sum high tea, I might go back again to see whether its high-tea had a better standard. Spending: Approximately SGD 20
my girlfriend got us some discountvoucher from a deal website for nanxiang so we drove over to the branch that she bought which was the plaza singapura’s branch. We had $40 to spend so we were flipping the menu to order our food. In the end, we ordered their fried dumpling, xiao long bao, zh jiang mian, hot and sour soup and a tang bao. It was the first time for us to eat a tang bao and we were rather fascinated at the size of it. You have to suck the soup from a straw. The soup was pretty hot so we have to take some sips. The fried dumpling was my favourite. The skin was not too thick yet it was really chewy. The meat was very juicy and tasty. It is best eaten with the vinegar.
Though this place is famous for its Xiao Long Bao, there are also many dishes which are worth trying. One of them is the flavourful Si Ji Dou with minced pork (Season French Bean as shown in the 2nd picture). The salted egg yolk prawn is also one of my favourite dishes which I will never fail to order when I visit this restaurant. Unless you like oily and salty food, I will not recommend you to order the fried noodles. Personally, I feel that it is a disappointment. The staff are kinda service-oriented and are prompt in assisting their customers. In fact, the cashier even ask us for our feedback on the food and inform us that we can tell the waitress if we want less oil and salt in our food in future.Spending: Approximately SGD 20(Dinner)
I was walking around bugis junction with my husband. We could not decide what to eat for lunch. After much pondering, we settled for nanxiang. I like their xiao long bao there. The xiao ong bao is indeed a must order when you are there, they actually have a lot of kinds of xiao long bao but my favourite is the original kind. The skin is very thin, the soup inside is so tasty. The meat is very tender and tasty. I almost forgot to take a picture cos it was just too tempting. My hubby ordered the drunken chicken. It was really good, the meat was so tender and the gravy was really good. We tried the shanghai fried noodle, the noodles were very springy and it was fried till very tasty. Love the food here, very affordable and delicious. I shall brig my kids here next time t try other food.
I went to nanxiang for a gathering with old friends. It was my first time there, they served mainly shanghainesefood like xiao long bao etc. I ordered their egg fried rice and their hot and sour soup. The rice was really fragrant, love the eggy bits. The hot and sour soup was really good. They pre-seasoned it for me unlike din tai fung where you add your own chilli oil and vinegar. There were quite a lot of ingredients in the soup like meat, toufu etc. it was really good, went really well with my fried rice. I also ordered their tang bao, you have to suck the soup from a straw. My advise to everyone is take slow and small sip, the soup is really really hot! But it was good. Tasty and makes you wanna have more.
You have relatively simple fare from Shanghai but modified to suit Singaporean\'s palate. For example, you will notice that the xiao long bao skin is quite thin just like Ding Tai Feng, and also it\'s not as salty. I have been to Shanghai before and the baos there are thicker in skin texture and saltier. But you also get mains like Drunken Chicken, Jelly fish with vinegar, crab with egg flower, and the soup is really good. I have chicken soup and also the sweet and sour soup. Both did not disappoint. However, there was once I ordered the wrong item and I requested for a change. Initially they were quite reluctant to do so but they did eventually as the manager intervene. So I have the chance to try the Shanghainese vegetable rice, and spicy rice.
Last December I went to Shanghai and tasted the Xiao Long Bao from the Nanxiang Steambun restaurant at the Chenghuang Miao. It was really delicious. When I was shopping around Plaza Singapura, I noticed that there was a restaurant with the same name as that in Shanghai. I was in a hurry and thus had not the opportunity to patronise then. A few days later, I checked up on the Openrice website and realised that there was another branch at Bugis and decided to try it with my hubby. The restaurant was packed at lunch time. We were lucky to have a seat. We ordered a few dishes to try. This was one of the recommended dish. A little sour due to the vinegar. Delicious. The xiaolong bao was not as good as those in Shanghai. Didn\'t have much soup inside. This Dou miao has nothing special in particular. This fried chicken was just an ordinary cutlet. I couldn\'t remember how much was the bill but it should be more than $50. We were given a $0.20 rebate card for our next visit.
Visited this simple chinese restaurant for dinner after shopping around at Plaza Sing. The to-die-for dish undeniably would be the Salted Egg Prawns. As i am a huge fan of seafood, the prawns were very crunchy and the sauce was fragrant. I was also a huge fan of their signature dish which is the Drunken Chicken. Thumbs up. I thought that the prices were a little on the pricey side for the portions offered, but i will definitely be back for more.
Happened to be at Bugis Junction with my gf and chanced upon this Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant. Actually it was the only restaurant that didn\'t have a queue at 730pm on a weekday evening. They are supposedly a very well known outfit in Shanghai, so expectations were rather high. The interior was rather cramp, evidently with the restaurant trying to squeeze as many tables as possible in the relatively small room, resulting in a less than comfortable boxy looking dining area. I could easily overhear the adjourning table\'s conversation, not that I wanted to though. I guess that gives you an idea how close the tables were. Have you ever tried pork rib noodles that were sweet I for one, have not. Thats why Nanxiang\'s rendition came as quite a surprise (or was it shock). The broth was sweet, not the MSG kind of sweet but literally sugar sweet. The pork ribs were sweet as well, which was rather weird, considering that I had expected the entire dish to be salty. The noodles were rather springy though and appeared to be the only thing that was "normal". Sorry but sweet broth and pork ribs just don\'t cut it for me. For $8.50, I had expected better. The Yang Zhou Fried Rice was a joke and I\'m not kidding. Served in a rounded symmetrical form, the rice looked like it had been pre-prepared and scooped from a container using a bowl (I\'m just guessing). The de facto Char Siew was replaced by luncheon meat which is a poor substitute in my humble opinion. The rice lacked taste and came across as rather bland. Probably the only thing that I liked about this dish was the homogeneity of colours. The Fried Prawns with Salted Egg came piping hot, with the gravy still bubbling and frothing. The relatively fresh prawns were of average size and overall tasted decent with the gravy buttery and a little coarse, probably due to the bits of egg yolk. However, this dish is best eaten hot as the gravy tends to harden as it cools and things get really gross from there. The baked mini puffs looked like your normal curry puff, but break it open to find pork, mushroom and bamboo. Supposedly of course. Truth is, I only found pathetic bits of mushroom in it with what seemed to be scrap morsels of minced meat. It was like eating the pastry more than anything else. Not that it tasted good by the way. Steamed Soup Bun with Crab Roe and Pork Filling - Purportedly Nanxiang\'s signature dish - the Xiao Long Bao (XLB). I honestly wasn\'t the least bit impressed. The skin was way too thick and I had to literally tear it apart before I could take a snapshot of the filling. And there is something about the QC of their XLB. Some had loads of fluids contained within, some had minimal. Talk about consistency. I have never tried Pan Fried Pumpkin Cake before and I don\'t think I ever want to try it again, at least not at Nanxiang. The cake was soaking in oil but tasted decent though, a little sweet and crispy on the outside. $59 for such mediocre quality food is plain absurd. The only redeeming factor was the reasonably good service but I don\'t think thats enough to make me go back.
This is my first visit to Nanxiang restaurant, and very impressed with their interior deco using the bamboo steamers. Creative! We also tried the King size soup bun ($6.80) 蟹黄灌汤包. The soup is milder taste as compared to the xiao long bao, but very nice, with some crab meat and roe too.The Egg yolk prawn ($13.80) 黄金虾仁 is pretty ordinary. Perhaps the egg yolk sauce is not thick enough.Egg, milk, crabmeat ($11.30) 蛋白牛奶炒蟹肉 is absolutely gorgeous. The egg white and milk are smooth, with the generous amount of crabmeat. Thumbs up for this must try dish!Golden fried rice ($9.30) 黄金炒饭 is one of my favourite too. Served with pork floss, the whole flavour and texture are just beautifully done.
this was the shanghai food restaurant we had a few shanghai food but what i liked the most was their special fried rice.. which has chips in it.. serves 2 - 3 people their salted egg prawns was very nice as well i also love their salted vege duck soup.. not too salty... soft duck meat.. refreshing
Was stolling along the crowded Bugis street, and my friend and i just couldn\'t decide on what to have for our lunch ... as we were taking escalator up to second level of the bugis junction, we saw this chinese restaurant of Nanxiang. With curiousity of their design, we took a look at their menu and find that the pricing is quite affortable. Furthermore, we couldn\'t stand the grumbling sound from our stomach so 4 of us just walk into the restautant. THanks goodness, it was around 4 to 5pm there is no crowd or queue As we flipped through the menu thoroughly, our conclusion is that rice is more worth it to order hence my friend and i ordered the golden fried rice - the plate that has the floss meats on top . and subsequently , another of my friend ordered the chicken cultet fried rice and another one ordered the fried noodles.. our conclusion is that only the GOLDEN FRIE D RICE is recommended, while the noodles is in a very small portion and quite oily too... whereas, for the chicken cutlet fried rice, only the chicken cutlet is nice. the rice don\'t worth $8 ...since is quite normal in taste.

Of all the food that I had ordered, I think that the Xiao Long Bao and Salted Egg Yolk prawn are worth trying. As for the fried rice with chicken cutlet, the fried rice tasted quite good but the chicken cutlet was too salty (was wondering whether the chef accidentally added too much salt). However the minced pork noodle was a disappointment as the sauce was too watery. Surprisingly, the service at this restaurant is quite good (not typically of most chinese restaurant). When I told the staff that the chicken cutlet (which is served together with the fried rice) was too salty, the staff apologised immediately and changed a new piece for me.Spending: Approximately SGD 22(Dinner)

This is my first time visiting Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant. Because i\'m not quite a fan of "xiao long bao" so i\'ve not visited this restaurant earlier. However to my surprise, their food quality is quite good!sauteed egg white with milk and crab meat - I personally like this dish very much. Tasted just nice and very healthy to me. Crab meat was very fresh and crunchy too! Combined with the egg white smells nice too! No wonder it\'s one of their signature dish!dried scallop with shredded eggs soup- however this soup is just ok for me. Quite a lot of dried scallop in the soup but it doesn\'t have the sweet scallop taste. Instead it taste like wanton soup to me.fresh pork filling steamed bun- Signature dish as well. Pork is indeed fresh and the soup filling taste good too!stir fried baby french beans- A normal dish without any signature thumbs up in the menu, but to my surprise it\'s very good! "wok hei" is very good and very fragrant.Golden pumpkin cake- This is my favourite dessert! The pumpkin paste is just nice and not too sweet. Also it\'s not too oily. Double thumbs up from me! Spending: Approximately SGD 24(Dinner)
went to try this store because other places in PS were packed with people and is understandable why this place isnt as crowded. the food (guotie and xiao long bao) were very average, nothing fancinating. HOWEVER, they have this crab roe glass noodle or something(cant remember the exact name), it tasted quite good and very unique cause hadnt tried it in other restaurant before
We came to this place to try the signature soup bun by getting group buying coupon. The decor is unique from outside using the steam bun containers.. particularly like the seats near the window, although the view is just condo.. service is pro but i find a little too pushy la when recommending dishesfried noodles: not bad, but abit pricey fried rice: so-so, too expensive for the taste salted egg veg: decent but not spectacular prawn steam buns: ingredients are fresh but the taste also nothing to wow about big soup steam bun: to our disappointment, it was just an interesting display. the soup is just simple \'meat\' soup.Spending: Approximately SGD 25(Dinner)
We like it\'s decoration but food was kind of average. The fried rice was supposed to be one of the best sellers in Nanxiang but we were so disappointed. It came merely less than 5 mins after we placed order and it was lukewarm! It seemed that it was prepared for quite some time and being placed in a rice cooker to keep warm @_@ Shanghai dumplings were so-so. Dessert - Glutinous rice ball in sweet wine was special but not enough to compensate the disappointment. The king sized crab roe steamed soup bun was slightly overwhelmed for us. It\'s smaller version with pork suited us better. Spending: Approximately SGD 20(Lunch)
went there for my birthday celebration ordered chicken, chicken rice set, xiao long bao,egg yolk prawn gyoza,3 person total around $120++ chicken - is served cold,no rice, just the chicken itself, quite expensive, taste normal ok,not worth for this chicken rice set - chicken so so,rice not bad,at lease not oily xiao long bao - taste so so,the xiao long bao skin i thought was soft, but not, quite hard gyoza - the gyoza was not nice, tasteless, too blend egg yolk prawn - among all i only like this egg yolk very nice & strong, not too salty but very nice smell taste recommend to try thisSpending: Approximately SGD 40(Lunch)
At Nanxiang, they offer weekdays\' set lunch at very affordable prices. At only around $14++ per person, you get to choose one main course, oine soup plus three side dishes. All dishes are only cooked upon your order.Xiao Long Bao are also included in their set meal menu as well. The service staffs are also quite friendly here.My verdict: 6.5/10Spending: Approximately SGD 20(Lunch)

So I have the chance to try the Shanghainese vegetable rice, and spicy rice. What\'s unusual about the spicy rice is that they sprinkle some chili tapoica flakes on top of the rice, which gives it a sweet and crunchy texture. I like it here, highly recommended for a simple meal in a rainy day. Spending: Approximately SGD 30(Lunch)
Gotta try the gooey thingy. Looks like baby food but taste great~ Crabmeat and pork XLB was quite disappointing, can\'t taste or feel any crab meat. Shanghai vegetable rice was good. It had a great aroma and a sweet taste in every bite.Spending: Approximately SGD 20(Lunch)
SERVICE

My boyfriend and myself went Nanxiang Steamed Bun at Bugis Junction for our usual dinner. We ordered Poach Chicken Drum, Asst Vege Slice, King Size Soup Bun and etc...
The food were good but the service we received was more than we desire.

The Poach Chicken Drum was not cut properly and my bf asked for a table knife, he's a Jap and the English accent is not S'porean style but surely the China waitress should be able to understand him.Instead of being helpful, she showed her impatient face and took our dish back to the kitchen to cut the chicken drum in a unprofessional manner.

I don't know what is your exact closing time but at 9.15pm, the staff starts to clear away our chilli and sauces. I can clearly heard my neighbour complaining as well. The staff also started to sweep the floor while tables of customer are still dinning away.

This type of service needs improvement especially they are located in Bugis Junction where the number of tourist is high.

FOOD
Their Spring roll carb roe is commentable, cripsy and full of roe.Vale for $$.
Wasabi Prawn must try too, big juicy prawn with a mild wasabi taste to wet your appeitie.

They have 2 main high tea sets, which you can further add on items too.

I opted for the most basic one to taste their food. They don't look very appealing but taste was average. It is actually quite value for money as you get really full at the end of the set. If you are a small eater, I would suggest 3 person to share 2 sets. You can always add on if you feel that is not enough.

I had a reunion dinner cum my b'day celebration with my besties sometime back before CNY! Initially I suggested to have Ma Maison but the queue was too long and they don't take reservation!!! So we decided to have chinese food! We all agrees that chinese food are safe food, they can't turn out bad!

We went to this restaurant at Bugis Junction level 2, near the escalator.

The dishes that we ordered. Boohoo! Ewww! Yucks!
The Xiao Long Bao has a fishy smell.
The Noodle small portion and tasteless.
The Fried Rice not fragrance.
The Meat balls taste so so!!!

All in all the food taste yucky! However, the ambience, setting were beautiful.
We had a good time taking pictures

Happy National Day, China!

So how apt for me to do a post about one of China's greatest inventions. The dumpling. Although Nanxiang seems to have done the literal translation of 包 which is bun. I guess they do buns too.

I try and avoid Chinese food when I visit Singapore since I always feel that I can get much better in Hong Kong, where I live, and for greater value too. I also try to avoid Bugis Junction since the parking is horrendous. So on this very odd occasion when the 2 no-nos met, Mom and I found ourselves at Nanxiang.

It's a fairly comfortable place to eat at - bright (read stark white and made even brighter with natural lighting in the day). First time - so we limit our order to "chef favorites".

To start, we got the Homemade Tofu. It was surprisingly very firm - almost bouncy - from the abundance of meat and seafood infused into the tofu. So it was really a slab of meat/seafood roll infused with tofu. Served with a sweet chili dip, it was pretty tasty - most deep-fried things are. Personally, I would have preferred the presence of more tofu and a softer texture though.

The Bean Sauce Minced Pork Noodle (炸酱面) was mediocre if you have had the same in Beijing. This is a less oily version but while the mince was salty enough to give the noodles a little bit of lift, it was a pretty flat taste. Hardly a hint of anything else to allow the eater to think about what else went in to make the sauce. The noodles were borderline firm enough, and the julienned cucumbers were a tad soggy even if chilled.

The stir-fried string beans (干煸四季豆)were pretty addictive though. Well fried to still retain a good juicy crunch, even if this ain't the most healthy way to eat vegetables, it sure is tasty. There was just enough minced pork to give the beans a salty and smoky flavor, they did not overpower. Would be nice with steamed rice but not too salty to have on its own.

Our finale was the quintessential reason for this place's existence. The Crab Roe and Pork Filling Steamed Bun (蟹黄小笼) is 2 prices up on the traditional pork only but what the heck, the other being the crab meat and pork filling. Note the little wooden sign in the bamboo basket which says crab roe in Chinese - so there is no confusion in delivery. The skin was thin enough for the most part, but I had to spit out the part where they pinch it at the top of the bun to make the ripples down the sides of the bun. It was far too thick and had been dried out for some reason so it tasted crusty. The filling had a little more pork bite than the traditional which I tend to like, since it's not so fatty, but the roe was probably not the best kind as it did little to add any hint of the sea at all.

Overall verdict: if you happen to be stuck in the area, it's ok to grab a quick one here. There are definitely noticeable differences in standards from its home in Shanghai, and I think you can probably get better ones, even in Singapore. Besides, the price point at Nanxiang isn't low enough for that to even be a consideration.
