Ninethirty started as an idea on how to marry our local heritage with our favourite foods. Banish the word "fusion"! While some of the dishes such as Pork Chops and Fish and Chips are also Western, they have definitely become part of our local palate. Thus, we decided to add a local touch to these Western dishes.

We also wanted to showcase local heritage dishes in a modern setting, and have picked recipes from our childhood and history that are fast vanishing. They sitting comfortably with newer recipes and ideas is a testament to Singapore's adventurous melting pot of a food culture.
