About Us

Centre for Continuing Education was established in 2007 by invitation of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), offering the same conservatory style training in a “learning by doing” environment that has educated some of the greatest legends in American cinema and some of the brightest stars on Broadway.

Graduates of Tisch School of the Arts have gone on to establish and sustain successful international careers as creators, performers, cultural innovators, writers, singers, filmmakers and artists, earning Academy Awards, Tony Awards, and Pulitzer Prizes.

Acting I
The goal of this course is to introduce the student to the fundamentals of acting for film and theatre.

Basics in Audition
This one-day workshop is designed to help actors to get the most out of a film or television casting meeting.

Screenwriting
What moves an audience? What makes them laugh? In this course, we will write and revise short screenplays that have an impact on our audiences.

Introduction to Television Writing: Half-Hour Comedy

This course takes an international perspective on the half-hour comedy today, preparing the student to write comedy scripts and ideas that will sell in the global marketplace.

Basic HD Cinematography Workshop
This intermediate level workshop walks through the guiding aesthetic and technical principles of cinematography and of High Definition (HD) video recording.
