The Magic Mushroom ($18) which is baked portobello mushroom with ricotta cheese, spinach, pesto, topped with a tomato basil sauce and mozzarella was simply magical. The medley of rich flavours with the earthy mushroom magically sent the mouth blooming with wonderful flavours. I will definitely go back for this.

5 of us dined at the Original Sin. We ordered the mezze to share. We ordered the mains :mousakka, lagsana, veg tandoori and Supremo pizza. There was no asparagus, mushrooms or capsicums in the pizza. Instead it was sundried tomatoes which was too sour for my liking. I would have preferred more onions, and the asparagus and mushrooms in there. Hence I was disappointed. Service was ok. Our friends liked the food. The place is located at a quiet area with nice ambience. Otherwise it is quite expensive to eat here.
Patrons who frequent Holland Village and Chip Bee Gardens along Jalan Merah Saga would certainly be familiar with Michelangelo’s restaurant and his sister outlet Original Sin – the latter in 1997, became Singapore’s first vegetarian Mediterranean restaurant.
One of the most established vegetarian restaurants around. Risotto is worth every minute of the 20 minute wait!
Serves mediterranean and vegetarian food. one of the favourite places to go for my expat friends. i tried the pizzas, which is very interesting with loads of middle eastern toppings. the casual, congenial bistro-style atmosphere makes it a great place to chill out after work.
The menu at this Mediterranean-style restaurant is completely vegetarian. The imaginative use of ingredients here gives run-of-the-mill dishes a real twist.
