Originally from the now-closed Crown Prince Hotel... Peony Jade is famed for their Oor Nee Teochew mooncakes. Don't Peony Jade's remind you of Snow White? The light and flaky pastry of these fair and delicate-looking beauties made it difficult to believe that they were deep-fried...I too enjoyed the smooth yam filling and yolk. In addition, the Oor Nee was sweetened just enough to appeal to health-conscious folks.

You gotta eat these quick though, they taste best eaten on the day they're produced. Keep them for another two days, and you'll see a distinct difference in freshness.
