We happen to pass by this shop and
Food is healthy and a nice place to relax and chat. Tried the chicken burger with wholemeal bread. Everything is fine and I Ordered brownie next and its the most healthy brownie I had tasted so far.
I will definitely come back.
Salmon Paprika Pasta set meal is fantastic! Also, great selection of butterless, flourless cakes - that will satisfy that dessert craving whilst keeping your diet in check. ;) healthy food at a reasonable price
We wanted a Xmas eve celebration dinner that is not too exp this year and not too crowded like Orchard area. So one of my friend has sourced around Tanjong Pagar and found this restaurant, which the environment is quite cool. Anyway, we didnt know its a buffet dinner until when we were there, as we thought its a xmas dinner set when we made the reservation. Well, usually i have quite high expecation for buffet food, cos i really dislike food that is not freshly prepared or cold. The buffet there is not very nice, except for the chicken wings and ham. And the coffee there is quite good. But overall, the ambience over there is still not that bad.

Some of us might have heard of PiNK NutriDeli, which I had blogged about it way back in 2009. PiNK Nutrideli serves very healthy and low-fat food, without adding too many calories and takes good care of your heart. The name PiNK, comes from the saying †In the pink of healthâ€. Following the success at PiNK NutriDeli, PiNK Dining & Bar was established along Craig road( a few doors away Pasta Brava) introducing a much more extensive menu compared to the one at Clifford Centre. The location is ideal as the working executives around the area can easily to grab a healthy sandwich/ salad here or simply call for delivery.
The items in the menu are specially designed and are low in fat and calories. The burgers/sandwiches/pita pockets uses the wholemeal version. For simple starters, they offer Japanese maki using Brown rice instead of normal white rice .
For the mains, they offer a variety of fish and chicken dishes (with skin and fat trimmed off) , serving alongside their signature olive brown rice/ lemony spaghetti or mashed potatoes.
Sometimes we are worried that desserts are high in calories and puts on a burden on our waistline. However, you can now enjoy these guiltless desserts at PiNK. They have brownies that are flourless and butterless, cheesecake using low-fat ricotta cheese and even 99% fat-free yoghurt parfait.
On top of these, they offer a wide range of protein shakes (low fat, to build muscles ), Super slim yoghurt freezers , using fruits and contains green tea extract.You can put your mind at ease and enjoy the food here without any guilt!
BAKED WHITE DORY SET: $13.00NETT!!!
* Soup of the Day
* Salad on the Side
* Choice of OLIVE BROWN RICE, SPAGGIES or MASHED POTATO
* Complimentary Drink (Pepsi, Sprite, Gingerale)
Soup of the day was Carrot soup minus the cream and cornflour. The carrot soup is not creamy there are cubes of carrots in it.
Grand Caesar Salad ($6.95)
They used low-fat caesar dressing on the romaine lettuce and topped with super lean turkey bacon strips. The turkey bacon strips reminds me of Bak Kwa but it is definitely much healthier. It would have been perfect if the romaine lettuce were served in small pieces.
A generous Dory fillet with Mushroom brown sauce, side salad and I had their signature olive brown rice as my starch. The dory fillet was baked , topped with some herbs and mushroom sauce . The fish is fresh and soft – no complains.
The signature brown rice was served lukewarm ( would prefer a warm and fluffy rice) . There were some fried shallots in it but I couldn’t detect any traces of black olives.
Low fat Chocolate Devil cheesecake ($4.95)
I couldn’t resist the temptations of desserts and what’s more, they offer LOW-FAT desserts! It’s definitely not to be missed at PiNK. The chocolate devil cheesecake uses low fat ricotta cheese and eggless chocolate . Do not expect Valrhona chocolate here ! For those who have not tried eggless chocolate cakes might not be accustomed to the mild chocolate flavour.
The base of the cake uses a few ingredients- rice crispies, chopped walnuts and oatmeal/ cornflakes. It is much healthier than the normal cake/ tart base which uses butter and and almond flour. I am highly sensitive to nuts thus I can literally see and detect traces of finely chopped walnuts in the cake base.
Verdict: I can safely enjoy food here without any guilt( especially desserts) . Prices here are reasonable and I can be assured of being served with healthy and low-fat food here as the menu is specially designed by a nutritionist.
