Voted as one of Singapore’s best 50 restaurants, PUTIEN has carved a niche for itself offering authentic Heng Hwa cuisine in our island city-state, aided by a superior reputation and an intrinsic desire to provide heart-warming comfort food for globetrotting city slickers.

The PUTIEN brand name has its roots traced to Putian, a beautiful coastal town located in the Fujian province of China. Surrounded by spectacular ocean views and majestic mountains, Putian is blessed with lush pastures and bountiful catches from the sea. The first PUTIEN eatery was established in 2000 and it had the vibes of a no-frills coffeeshop rather than a posh and plush restaurant.

Today it has seven restaurants in Singapore and one wholly-owned overseas restaurant in Jakarta.
