Co-founded in 1979 by Richard & Gino, ‘Riccino’ became renown in Singapore for designing and producing bespoke ladies shoes. The four principles of Style, Elegance, Comfort and Quality have always been at heart of the Riccino shoe collection.

In 1985 Richard took a backseat with the project in pursuit of other interests while Gino continued to drive Riccino’s growth both in Singapore and new overseas markets. Together with the Trade Development Board, Riccino participated in the Singapore Apparel Show in Tokyo in 1984 and in Singapore in 1985. Locally Riccino began close projects with SODA (Society of Designing Arts), which was then the launch pad for Singapore designers entering the fashion retail market. Together they set up counter outlets in Hemispheres and Style Singapore.

Riccino has been a longtime supporter of international beauty pageants in Singapore such as Miss Singapore Universe, Miss Singapore World.

In recent times, Richard has returned to collaborate with Gino. Re-combining their design expertise and retail knowledge to take the label to new heights both locally and overseas. Riccino’s positioning in Asia provides a niche bespoke alternative to what the current markets have to offer.

Along with Riccino’s 2 boutique stores in Singapore, it is also available in Sogo Indonesia retail counters. Expansion plans now include various regions of Asia, before spreading the brand further afield.
