There is a choice of butter to choose from. GARLIC BUTTER PRAWNS. It was wonderfully soaked up all the sauce you feel like you are munching on a piece of butter. The Garlic and herb butter was fragrant and went well with the pancakes. Perhaps the youngsters would like this chill out place. The sweet pancakes will be good to go around the table but not as a meal.
Awesome selection of pancakes with various flavors. A truly fantastic pancake place that serves them all day!
Ohh how i love the pancakes! Really2 addictive!
The Druggie, Just for the name itself, you know what you're getting yourself into!

Craving for pancakes? Pancake lovers in central area would have a place in mind. Strictly Pancake, a dedicated pancake joint that serve pancakes at a no frills concept. Creativity would be highly handy as patrons are able to "customise" their choice of pancakes and sides to add on as a complete meal.

Price and quality of food is deem reasonable that set in a backdrop of warmth which is a great hangout for group gatherings or for a quick and healthy meal. Do be cautious on the portion of pancakes as you may end up busted with overflowing pancakes in your stomach!

after reading about strictly pancakes in 8days, my friend recommended us to go there to eat to celebrate my friend's birthday. strictly pancakes is located approx 5 mins walk from plaza sing at a row of 2 storey shop houses. the restaurant itself is quite small with the 1st storey only able to sit groups of 4. as we had 6 of us, we sat upstairs where there was more space. the restaurant had a cosy feel to it despite its small size with a skylight in the 2nd storey.

we ordered several pancakes to share and try. we ordered the individual a la carte pancake instead of the custom one. the names were all very strange so i will just state the basics. haha. each set came with plain pancakes. eact set cost around $12 to $17

salmon with pancake- too salty and dry according to my friend
beef patty with pancake- average??
the butter and maple syrup which came with the pancake were also nice. tried all three diffferent butters; salted butter, unsalted butter, rum and rasin butter

alright, maybe salvoury stuff do nt go too well with pancakes in my opinion but we also tried the chocolate pancake with chocolate ice cream. tasted great and delicious with the ice cream being thick and rich.

the service staff there were all very friendly with most of the staff being in their teens or 20s. they were all very bubbly in character. they were also very helpful in helping take pictures and all.

this place is great for breakfast or afternoon snack, but maybe not for a traditional meal taking person who enjoys his or her rice and noodles. haha.

Recently, I and my cousins went to the fairly well-known "Strictly Pancakes" after hearing many reviews from different people!

Opened daily with ample supply of pancakes for the pancake lovers like us, not only the pancakes are delicious, the atmosphere of the whole environment is so cosy and relaxing for gathering/meet-ups with friends.

Even though the price might be a little too steep for normal pancakes, I think the environment has increase the value fairly too.

We ordered a custom made pancakes with rum & raisin butter and maple syrup (of course) and another plate of Garlic Leeking Mushrooms (thick pancakes that are filled with leeks in it) with garlic butter and maple syrup. And of course, 2 plates of pancakes were not even enough to fill 3 stomachs so we ordered another custom pancakes with bacon & mushrooms.

Oh, did I mention that I extremely love the garlic butter?

As a savory person, I prefer more salty or spicy food rather than sweet. However, I really like the pancakes there with the normal rum & raisin butter and maple syrup too.

I would definitely try out the sweet pancakes in the future when I visit the store again.

Nice and cosy, I like!

I love pancakes. Naturally, I was very excited when I learnt of Strictly Pancakes (SP), Singapore’s first dedicated pancake café! Located at 44A Prinsep Street, SP is open from morning till night so customers can have their pancake fix anytime during the day.

In addition to the traditional butter-and-maple-syrup combination, SP also offers six sweet and six savory options, ranging from Chicken A La King (chicken chunks, sweet onion slices, cream sauce and asparagus) to Strawberries & Co (mixed berries, vanilla ice cream, strawberry coulis and cream).

I had set my eyes on the Black Forest Pancakes while browsing through their online menu, which was coincidentally recommended by the staff.

Black Forest ($12+): Chocolate pancakes topped with brandied cherries, a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, chocolate shavings, homemade chocolate sauce and cream

These were supposed to come with three chocolate pancakes but I accidentally served plain ones instead. Not that I minded though, ‘cos I find chocolate pancakes too sweet for me! However, I didn’t get receive any reimbursement for the error (chocolate pancakes cost $1 more than plain ones on the a la carte menu) but I was not charged for the rum and raisin butter (U.P. $0.50) which I had requested to try.

The pancakes were decently soft, and were in fact very much like a slightly thicker version of Mac’s hotcakes. While I enjoyed the combination of cold vanilla ice cream with warm pancakes, I definitely won’t be ordering dessert pancakes here again as I find them too sweet for my liking. Nevertheless, those with a sweet tooth will probably enjoy this. Although my favorite way of enjoying pancakes is to have them drizzled with lots of maple syrup, I will not be attempting the plain pancakes here as I have heard that the maple syrup served here is watered-down.

The Iced Blended Mocha ($5+) was decent- light, frothy and not too sweet. However, it was a tad icy.

Cedele’s superbly soft pancakes are still the best choice for those who like their pancakes on the thinner side. However, having heard positive reviews about SP’s savory choices and milkshakes, I will not rule out the possibility of a re-visit if I happen to be around the area. Oh, and students (like me) get 10% off the bill!
