Terminals
Star Marine Agency have long term contracts with terminals and ICDs such as Sai Gon New Port, VICT, ICD PHUOC LONG, ICD PHUC LONG, ICD TRANSIMEX, ICD TANAMEXCO, ICD SOTRANS, ICD SONG THAN,… so our customers have more choices for loading and discharging cargoes or custom clearance, which is one of our advantages, as we can liaise with terminals directly to arrange shipment in the best way.
Shipping Agent specialties
• Liaise with terminals to get the good tariff and authorization for vessel operating.
• Arrange berthing for vessel in and out of the port, book pilot and tug boat service.
• Be Board agents with good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Oversee both incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure within tight deadlines.
• Handle loading or discharged containers from ship to Container Yard and vice versa (CY/CY TERM).
• Handle project, Out Of Gauge cargo (Over high, Over Width, Over Weight and Un-containerized) and Dangerous/hazardous cargo.
