Tamoya was established in the home of udon, Sanuki (now known as Kagawa) prefecture in 1996 by Sanuki udon champion, Tamotsu Kurokawa. Tamoya Singapore is first in Southeast Asia and also first overseas outlet! Brought all the way from Tamoya Japan, from Kagawa prefecture, Sanuki udon is hand-crafted from Tamoya's proprietary flour mixture (made from 3 different flour) and is served with "golden dashi" broth. I was went out for lunch with my colleagues.
and we decided to try noodle from Tomoya Udon.
I choose Sanuki udon topped juicy beef noodle.
I really like the noodle and their Kakiage.
Tamoya's service style is difference with other restuarant. Their style allows customers to arrange the Udon to their liking. For example, customer can choose the amount and type of Udon,Toppings, Rice dishes, and even sushi can be selected by yourself. Free condiments provided as well.
