About Us
Tartbox by Meenbakes opened in August 2021, making it the first Muslim owned tart shop in Singapore. The Pastry Chef and Owner, Sharmeen Wasim, is a Pakistani Singaporean who was only 22 years old at the time when they began operations. She had just graduated from a Degree in Pastry Arts and Food Service Management earlier that year when her elder sister encouraged her to start her own small business.
