| Techniqs Academy Pte Ltd was incorporated under the Singapore’s Company’s Act (Cap 50) on and from 20th April 2010. It is a newly set up Academy with the aim of providing full time courses to individuals who are interested in equipping themselves with technical and practical knowledge in preparation for work in the spa industry. |

Course Details
Techniqs Academy will be conducting classes for 2 forms of certifications:
- Certificate of Thai Massage course
- Diploma in Holistic Massage (ITEC UK)
Admission requirements:
Individuals are required to have a minimum Academic Qualification of GCE “N” or “O’ Level. The minimum language proficiency would be a pass in English language for the GCE “ O” and “ N” Level.
Graduation requirements:
The Overall Assessment will require a passing mark of at least 60%, inclusive of both the practical and the theory examinations.
Pass grade - 60 - 74%
Credit grade - 75 - 89%
Distinction grade - 90 - 100%
Certificate of Thai Massage course:
A hobby class which consists of 6 lessons of 3 hours each. Consists of full body massage techniques. |
Diploma in Holistic Massage (ITEC UK):
The objective of the course is to equip students with the relevant skills and knowledge, such as basic anatomy and physiology, as well as business ethics, etc to prepare them for work in the spa industry.The course will encompass both hands on and theory sessions that are designed to provide a holistic understanding of both relaxation and therapeutic massage. Theory classes will be conducted to impart scientific understanding on the human physiology, as well as business ethics and awareness courses. The course structure will be tailored with an aim to develop competent practitioners in both technical and scientific knowledge. Upon completion of the course, the students will be equipped with the relevant interpersonal and technical skills that would be necessary for them to perform effectively in the spa industry.
The course syllabus will be covering both the practical and theory aspects of holistic massage. The theory session will be divided into 3 modules as follows:
Module 1: Anatomy and Physiology
Module 2: Techniques and effects of holistic massage
Module 3:Business Awareness,Ethics and Etiquettes
Fees structure:
Certificate of Thai Massage course: $380
Diploma in Holistic Massage (ITEC UK): $2280, inclusive of $300 examination fees |
