We enjoyed our evening meals in the Tiffin room.....staff were helpful....and discreet.....and service was quick.....

Tiffin, properly defined as a light mid-day meal, has long been a Raffles tradition. Although tiffin curry has been served here since 1899, the Hotel’s main dining room has only officially been named the Tiffin Room since 1976. Tiffin Room\'s curry buffet is a hot favourite with tourists and Singapore residents alike. Available daily at lunch and dinner, the elaborate buffet features authentic Northern Indian specialities including vegetarian curries for the non-meat diners. Singlets, shorts, bermudas, sandals, slippers and pool attire are not permitted in the restaurant. All meals served are in buffet style. The spread lets u select from a variety of curries, chutneys, rice n indian breads.the restaurant carries d trademark Raffles elegance throughout its decor. Very british raj. 

Tiffin room exudes this colonial feeling. Service is good, the waiters are very polite and they are very attentive to your needs. Lunch Buffet. The buffet's spread is not too bad. There is some variety but I am not that excited by the range of food they serve. It is definitely a nice place to meet with clients/partners but I dont really enjoy good indian food there.
