Just by looking at its appearance, you may think this is just another curry puffs which you can easily get anywhere near you.But once you have the first bites of it, you will be sure to crave for more.The pastry is fillled with the fragrant from the butter used in making it.The curry potato filling is not too dry or too wet, justat the right texture.It is not too spicy and great for all age groups.The chicken meat in it is also quite tender and chewy too.

TIP TOP Curry puff! Attracted to the fragance whenever i pass by the shop, hence stop by and grab one of them! I like their curry puff while it is hot and warm to eat, the ingredient inside is also alot. It contains like the hard boiled egg, chicken, curry. And the crust outside which is not very thicktherefore overall is worth buying !

love the curry puffs here. especially love that they have egg in it! one of the places i regularly buy curry puffs from. very fragrant and the pastry is amazingly strong and does not crumble or fall apart easily at all. the filling is a mix of potatoes and meat, which is very well balanced. the spice level is just right. however, not sure about the orangey tinge of the pastry. the pastry doesn\'t taste like spice but it is orangey. service is fast and efficient and polite. recommended!

Tip Top curry puffs are one of my flavourite curry puffs.The outer crust is very crispy, thick and fragrant.The curry fillings in the puffs are very generous which includes diced potatoes, diced chicken cubes, lots of Indian spices and dried curry sauce in it.At only one dollar and thirty cents per piece, it is an ideal snack and also a lighter food for lunch and dinner.The curry puffs is so fragrant that you can even smell it far from the stall before you step in to make the purchase.Simply so delicious that you cannot resist it.Spending: Approximately SGD 1.30(Lunch)

Tip top curry puff has a long history and since it has been ages since i had one, i went ahead and got for for my entire family! I really enjoyed the curry puff, with its crispy pastry crust and chunks of chicken inside! (yes, chunks!) i also enjoy the egg and potato, and its special combination of spices. Yum!

I heard of this curry puff for a long time but this was the first time I had tried it. The fillings are rich but it had a rather strong curry powder taste, and it tasted kind of spicy for me. There was not much chunk meat found in my puff , which I was rather disappointed as I always heard people telling me that the chicken meat was alot!. The egg slice was tuck in the corner of the puff , and I was expected it to be in the middle. Maybe my piece happened to be the \'faulty" piece as I can see other enjoying it.

I grow up with this taste. I have been eating it as a kid and still eating it as an adult. The taste is still the same all these years but the prices are getting higher and higher. I am quite sure this is one of the nicest curry puff in Singapore. I can taste chunky chicken meat with nice potato and a slice of egg in it. One is never enough for me, i need at least 2 to feel happy.

Bought this curry puff out of hunger and wanted something light. Well, this curry puff is not as good as i expected. The filling is okay. Among the curry puff that i eaten, i will still prefer A1 curry puff because of its thin crust and unique mouth watering filling. Its really one of the top curry puffs I’ve tried besides a few others. Its fillings are so generously portioned that it feel like the crush will burst soon. The crust is nice and cripsy too! Tip Top curry puffs have been around since 1979, and I remember I looked forward to sinking my teeth into the yummy curry puff whenever my parents bought some back home when we visited AMK Central during my growing up days. To date, its fragrant chicken curry is still what entices me to buy some home if I happen to be at AMK Central. I also like that there is a slice of hard-boiled egg in the puff, & I don\'t remember other curry puff chains doing that. When I bite into the crust, I find that it also does not give me a too-greasy feel like some other curry puffs in the market. I had to queue for about 20 minutes on National Day at the stall as it was lined with fans of the famous puff & many were ordering at least 5 (like myself). Nonetheless I feel it\'s worth the wait when I sunk my teeth into the freshly made curry puff that was piping hot!It is still my favourite curry puff after so many years! Tip top curry puff serve the best curry puff i ever had. I always will get one from there whenever i am near the area. the crust of the curry puff iscrispy. you are able to bite the chicken in the curry puff. all the filling are done nicely. though it will increase the price by 10 or 20 cents, but i still think it worth the money as the curry puff is much tasty than any other outlets. and also there are lots of people buying from them, therefore their curry puff are always hot!

disappointed..... the price is inflating yet not matched with the food quality.. from 90 cents to $1 then $1.10 and now $1.30! food is still nice but it used to be better. the combination of spice is just nice and i like the crispy crust. good for high tea and gathering. no complains about the cleanliness and service . will still patronize even with the drop in standard cos it\'s still one of the better curry puffs around. try it for yourself! TIP TOP\'s curry puff is a part of my growing up memories. It used to be only 0.60 cents a really long time ago. And after all these years, it is still one of the top names for curry puffs and they are selling it at $1.30 per piece now. There was an increase of 0.20 cents in 6 months not too long ago, they increased it to $1.10 and then to $1.20 about 3 months later. And now, i don\'t eat it as often after the price hike. No matter, it still tasted the same exactly like those i remember eating as a kid. I have always loved their nicely butttery crust and the filling was fragrant with the right level of spiciness. Other than the potato, you will a slice of hard boiled egg and tasty chicken chunks in it. Recommended.Spending: Approximately SGD 1.30

Just standing near the stall, you could sniff the curry fragrance coming out from this curry puff stall. At $1.30 for a piece, it is slightly costly but it certainly is delectable. I think it is better than Old Chang Kee curry puff. The curry puff is still hot when I bought it. The skin is crispy and it does not stick to one’s teeth and it is not dry too which I think is very important. The filling has potato, egg and chicken and the amount given is pretty decent.Though this is a deep fried food, after eating the mouth does not get really oily at all thus does not make one sick of it. The curry fragrance lingers in your mouth and it is not spicy at all. The chicken is tender and the potato is soft. Talking abt curry puff, we will always think abt Old Chang Kee but i know a place the taste is better than Old Chang Kee and price is about the same as well. The ingredients that they put inside the puff is really quality. It is called Tip Top The Puff Factory located at Ang Mo Kio. This shop is my hubby favourite store. Every time he drove pass Ang Mo Kio, he will made sure that he stop by there to buy some curry puff. I love the puff and definetely will recommennd to my friends as well.
