The coffee culture in our little red dot has grown from strength to strength, and has matured considerably.
i like their coffee latte... the taste is really coffee , so yummy..
Tried their V60! Coffee in a wine glass maybe gimmicky but I'll forgive them since it's so yummy!
The raw interior, casual seatings and the smell of freshly brewed coffee lured us in. I had a good feeling. It\'s called Toby\'s Estate. Checking out the menu board, the baristas/servers recommended the Eggs Benedict ($12+) and Toby\'s Big Breakfast ($16+) My eggs benedict with smoked salmon looked like a brunch dream. It wasn\'t a think and creamy hollandaise sauce, but the light buttery sauce gave a nice balance to the creamy yolk encased in the perfectly poached egg. No wonder it was a popular choice among the diners and half of us at the table that day. I think the highlight of Toby\'s Big Breakfast as the buttery grilled brioche bread. It was crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Accompanied with creamy scrambled eggs and mushrooms on top, it was well worth breakfast and lunch on a plate. A nice setting for brunch on a sunny saturday afternoon overlooking the Singapore River. Sometimes we should take a step back and let some spontaneity take the lead. Try something new, and you\'ll never know what you may find that may put a smile on your face.
The coffee culture in our little red dot has grown from strength to strength, and has matured considerably. No longer being contended with just any cuppa, tastebuds have since evolved to those with an increasing quest for improved quality, enhanced knowledge of the origins of beans and blends, and the comfort that they are harvested from fair and sustainable sources. To the joy of coffee lovers here, Toby\'s Estate is an Aussie heavyweight that joined the growing stable of serious gourmet coffee providers here.Toby\'s Estate that is one part warehouse, one part production and one part coffee joint played up the industrial look well - with its high loft, brick walls and cement surroundings (I heart!). Bar seats filled the sides, but do prop yourself up at the long wooden communal table that takes pride in the center of the cafe, to enjoy a sense of community with visiting patrons and where you can prick your ears up to the interesting conversations floating around. It is evident that Toby\'s Estate doesn\'t take its subject and business lightly. Not when there is an in-house coffee roasting machine, which was hard at work when we were there, filling the air with the sound of heavy machinery. In need for something chilled, we had an Iced Latte and Iced Mocha, which provided a severe caffeine kick right in our face and jostled us awake from the dull afternoon\'s sun. I am no coffee connoisseur but we can attest to the power of its caffeine, which is of no joke - we couldn\'t sleep until 3:00 am the next day. Though blurry-eyed on the following day, I\'m determined to go back for their tasty-sounding breakfast set, that is best washed down with a robust cuppa and to absorb more engrossing topics at the table. I just have to make a mental note to do so early in the morning, so as to allow me an entire day to exhaust the caffeine.Spending: Approximately SGD 7(Tea)
Best coffee i had so far. Nice ambiance to enjoy brunch, with lots of Caucasians around and makes u feels like having coffee in a foreign land. The 1st sip of coffees makes mi fell in love with it immediately.Super thick espresso for EvaLooks cool! Here comes our hearty breakfast set!
