HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink PacketAccess) is a new technology that has been dubbed "3.5G".This supports in enabling downloads at speeds of up to 1.8 Mbps –that is 6 times faster than normal 3G. The mobile phone from Samsung also has a second video camera that isused for making video calls. The internal display is one of thelargest around, at 2.3 inches, and is a high quality TFT display with262,000 colours and a high resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.

The mobile phone has a music player that is capable ofsupporting MP3, ACC, ACC+, e-AAC+ and Real formats, although not WMA.This model assures excellent audio quality that comes through thetwin speakers with 3D stereo sound, or via a headphone. The model mobilephone comes with Bluetooth stereo headsets as well as wired headsetsmaking it technologically updated. It is possible to access the musicplayer functions accessed with the clamshell and there are buttonsfor play, fast forward, rewind, pause and stop. The smooth touchmusic keys light up when pressed. This model mobile phone comes withan internal memory 30 Mbytes which can be expanded using a MicroSDmemory card.
