Samsung G800

By: Mark Hirst

The Samsung G800 is the new and stunning 3g phone from the same people who brought you the G600. It is a slide phone with a large screen measuring 2.4 inches which runs at an impressive 240 x 320 pixel resolution. The buttons on the G800 are suitably large making the phone extremely easy to use but also manages to keep the design very sleek and stylish. The phone comes in either silver or black, both of which look very high tech and will turn heads when in use. At 134g, the phone provides enough weight for peace of mind without feeling obtrusive and at 101 x 51.1 x 18.8 mm in size will easily slip into any pocket unnoticed.

One of the main features of the Samsung G800 is the 5 megapixel camera which is of such a good quality it could easily replace your digital camera.

With a combination of a clever auto focus and impressive zoom facilities, the G800 can produce some top quality pictures of professional standards. The only downsides to the camera are the flash which does not always give enough light meaning some photographs may come out dark and the storage for the phone can only be increased to 2gb meaning when combined with any downloads, you may not be able to take too many pictures.

The Samsung G800 makes use of wireless Bluetooth technology to connect to a wide range of accessories including headsets and computers and should that not be available, it easily connects via USB. It also features everything you would normally associate and need from a mobile including large phone book, fm radio and internet capabilities. All in all this is a great phone and highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade to something with good looks and ease of use.
