Congratulations to Nokia for coming up with three new mobile phones that are different to their normal handset designs. The mobile phones that Nokia have announced are the Nokia 6600 flip phone, and two slider mobile phones called the Nokia 6600 slide and the Nokia 3600 slide.
Today we will be concentrating on the Nokia 3600 slide. It's a compact little slider phone that looks similar to the Samsung D600. It measures in at 97.8 x 47.2 x 14.5mm and weighs 97.3 grams. It's a stylish handset with some gradated colour high gloss surfaces as well as soft ceramic paint, and metallic elements.
The Nokia 3600 slide is a quad band phone featuring GSM, GPRS, and EDGE support as well as Bluetooth.
It boasts a 3.2 mega pixel camera with auto focus, which is capable of VGA MPEG4 video capture at 15 frames per second. The camera is controlled by a two step camera key. It comes with a microSD memory card that is capable of accepting cards with a capacity of up to 4GB.
A unique little extra is the background noise cancellation feature for superior sound quality, and it is the first of Nokia's handsets to feature this. It also has a 2.5mm standard audio jack which will allow you to use your own headphones, and it can also be used as a TV-out port so it serves a double purpose.
The Nokia 3600 slide will be available in quarter three this year and will be released in charcoal and wine colour schemes.
