Nokia- the Leader of the Mobile Phones

If anything's that going to strike on your mind after hearing the word Nokia then that's surely a Mobile Phone. It's a thing that none can believe that you have'nt seen it or heard about it. It's a daily use Mobile Phone that has been seen time and again in your own hands or in the hands of other people.

It is now so common that life does'nt move on without it. Although in these recent days NOKIA is facing much tough competitors like Sony Ericcson, BenQ, Samsung etc. still Noika has kept it's lead in the Market for many years and it still looks like it will be at it's top in the years to come. Nokia still now continues to deliver it's promising quality products at a reasonable rate. Nokia Mobile Phones are mainly famous because of it's Battery with an enduring Battery life. Not only that the hardy sets that Nokia produces is trustworthy and has been promising till date with it's enduring performance and quality.

History of Nokia: The company Nokia has it's origin in the year 1865 when an Engineer Fredrik Idestam established a Paper Mill and named his company Nokia. Not only this, after the promising work force and growth of the Paper Mill , Nokia turned itself towards Rubber Industry. Finnish Rubber works established their Rubber Factory in Nokia and started using Nokia as their brand name. This time Nokia manufactured Footwears, Tyres, Raincoats, Industrial Rubber Parts etc. Gradually, the Finnish Rubber Works brought the majority of the Finnish Cable Work shares to increase it's profits.

The Finnish Cable Works grew quickly and reached it's height because it was a time when cables were much needed due to need in power Transmissions and Telephone Lines and Telephone Networks. This was the time when Nokia's success in the Telecom fields were making it's deep roots into the future telecom Industry. Nokia Cable Works Electronics Department started it's research work in the field of Semi-Conductors which was it's beginning in Telecommunication History of Nokia. In the 1970s Nokia even manufactured the Electro-Mechanical Analog Switches that were then used in the Telephone Exchanges all around the country.

It was during this time that Finnish Telecommunications were alllowed to to set up a network for Mobile Telephony in Cars. This was the result of creation of Nordic Mobile Telephony(NMT) in 1981. This Telephony Service created a new technology for Mobile Telephony known as GSM(Global System for Mobile Communications). This system developed then is still now used widely globally. Gradually Nokia foccussed itself towards the Telephony Products and services. It led to such an extent that during 1990s Nokia had two basic Pillars; the Telecommunication Division of Nokia and it's Mobile telephones. Days grew by and the Nokia of 1865 grew up to be the king of Mobile Phones in the Mid 1990s.

Nokia Today: Today Nokia stands on it's feet as the leading online Mobile Phone Manufacturer in the Country in and abroad. With it's stunning N-Series Devices Nokia feels like threatning the Computers. You must have seen the Advertisement in television with the Noika N95 featuring and promising itself as "It's what Computers have become". In the First days of Nokia Mobile Phones were meant to carry voice acros distances. But, with the growth of Science, Growth of the Mobile Phones led to device which can let you call across distances, let you sent Text Messages, Let you send Pictures, Videos,sounds etc. and even surf the Internet while you are on the move and Nokia truly is an phone brand.
