Small Article- your Family Must Stand Firmly

By: Dalip Singh Wasan

Your family must stand firmly.

It is our duty to establish a family and it is also our duty to make it sure that our family is standing at its on feet and none is dependant upon others out of the family. It is our duty to keep the number within limits because when they are members of our family, it shall be our duty to see that each one is given proper bringing up, proper education, proper training and proper adjustment in life. All these items need money and therefore, we should earn more and more money. Earning money is not greed, but we are to live in this society which has become habitual to so many new things.

The life is not so simple as it had been in the past and since man has grown up, it has brought so many things which have become our basic needs and if we do not possess those items, even our children shall be laugh on us and shall say at our face that we could not do anything for them. We must expect statements from our children that if we were not in a position to give them proper treatment in life, then we should not have brought them on thios earth and when parents listen such remarks from the side of their children, they shall go in frustration. Therefore, it is the duty of each one of us to see that each member in the house is properly maintained and this maintenance must go on till the child stands at his or her own feet. They shall not forgive us for our follies. Therefore, it is our duty to keep the number in limit and it is also our duty to perform our duty in bringing up the family. We should be able to give a gentleman to the society around us and if we give them a weak, an illiterate, an unsettled person, a criminal, a sinner or a person committing misconduct, they shall be cursing us and would never say that we had been a good person on this earth. So each parent must keep all these things in his mind.
