sandwich and snack baggies
As I was growing up in Montreal by my Grand mother, I saw her clean plastic bags everyday, she even had a special hanging rack for all the baggies that were drying.
That must be it all started.........
I'm 34 today....no kidding, it's actually my birthday today! ...thank you.
and I do clean the snack baggies and sandwich bags from my husbands and daughter's lunch boxes everyday!
If my husband catches me doing so, he threatens to throw them all away....
that's when I fib and say it's all recyclable, I'm cleaning it all for recycling.
When I'm actually cleaning them to reuse them....but if they are too foggy looking, I'll put them in my plastics recycling box (I"m a recycling fanatic as well)
But I'm proud to say that I can't remember last time I had to purchase snack or sandwich baggies!
I can hear you say..they don't cost much!
But there are many needed daily things that don't cost much but all in all...it ads up!
That's when penny pinching is taken seriously! LOL
p.s.: Don't wash and recycle baggies where fish and meats have been in, it's just not hygienic enough, better be safe than sorry.
