Honda Maintains Flexible Production

One of the most important cars in the Honda lineup is the current .While gas prices soar well above $4 in many places around the country,the Honda Civic has become increasingly in demand as it remains one ofthe most popular fuel efficient vehicles in the country. As such, Hondais increasing the production of the Civic to meet demand.

Meanwhile,Honda is also shifting its production of the new Honda Pilot and theRidgeline pickup truck. Currently built in Honda’s Alliston plant inCanada, where production of the Civic will be increasing, the truckswill now be built in Honda’s Lincoln plant in Alabama.

The all-newHonda Pilot has been seen as a positive addition to dealers' lineupsays thanks to its wealth of features, attractive new styling, and evendecent fuel efficiency. This shift will help save jobs at Honda’sfacilities in Alabama, which is a huge feat while many auto makers arecutting truck production and jobs.

In addition to ,Honda has also announced that it will be building a new facility inIndiana to help build even more Civics, which has continued to be oneof the most popular models among lots. This new plant will also be responsible for creating an additional 2,000 jobs.

Honda islooking like somewhat of a hero as Ford and GM seem to be poised tomake even more cuts to its workforce. Meanwhile, Honda vehiclescontinue to be in demand for their quality, affordability, and ofcourse their renowned fuel efficiency.
