A. Palejs, Dr.h.c.ing. is the principal author of Ameco-17. After graduating in Civil Engineering from McGill University, for the next 19 years he worked for Alcan, Bechtel, Kaiser and Parsons, in positions ranging from Design Engineer to Chief Civil Engineer. In 1986, Dr. Palejs received a special award for excellence in computer aided design from the Canadian Society of Civil Engineering.
