Welcome to the world of sea food platters! Jimbaran is about 15 minutes from the airport and very close to Kuta, particularly if you are driving. This place used to be a fishermen’s village but it is now transformed into a seafood paradise with more than 30 seafood restaurants. This is also a wonderful option for a romantic dinner. Endless view of the horizon, sparkling fishermen’s boats or even the sight of airplanes landing in the airport, all that then being serenaded by locals playing your favorite songs, this place is definitely a lovely place to enjoy a day. - Bali Bombings
The region of Jimbaran is also one of the victimized areas of bombings on October, 1st, 2005. More than 23 people were killed and most of the victims were those dining at Kafe Nyoman and Café Menega, Jimbaran.
