Flanked with several of Singapore 's award-winning chefs and cookbook authors, this cooking school aims to re-educate Singaporeans on the proper techniques to approach the exquisite art of cooking.
Offering a buffet of various cuisines for all to learn, Shermay Cooking School has classes in fusion and traditional Singaporean, authentic Peranakan, Southeast Asian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Italian and French. Expect to learn first hand lessons in French cooking and chocolate preparation from Executive Chef Patrick Heuberger of Au Petit Salut, modern Chinese techniques from Chef Yong Bing Ngen of the New Majestic Restaurant, and much more! Each Guest Chef is carefully selected by Shermay Lee for their culinary skills and talents, teaching ability and career experience. The school boasts of chefs that mostly have 10-15 years of cooking experience, and are well-known for their meticulous dedication to their art.
Suitable for all cooking abilities, students can choose from different lessons of varying difficulty levels and either participate in cooking practicals that provide professional kitchen gadgets and quality ingredients or simply watch a demonstration by the chefs followed by some food tasting.
