Great chicken rice here!
My favourite place for chicken rice
Very crowded during weekend but good deal with good food so why not :)
Yummy sauce & soft n tender steam chicken!
The chicken rice here is superb and the hotplate bean curd too. Very recommended to eat here if you are a chicken rice lover.
Chicken rice one of my favourite dish that i frequently eat , as visited lot of of stalls, nam kee chicken rice is the 3rd place i like most . Due to fragnance of the rice , chicken etc
so i decided to ask my friend to go and dine in there , we ordered 2 people serving , bean curd etc. The chicken rice is soft , fragnance and the chicken is not so oily and tender , i like the chilli sauce spicy . the beancurd is soft inside and crispy outside .

the crowd at this chicken rice shop on weekends is very bad. It was pretty hard to find a table for a big family. We brought our in-laws to this shop for dinner, we went at the peak period so it was pretty crowded. Nevertheless, the crowd did not deter us from eating the nice chicken rice. we ordered both their roast and steamed chicken was the kids prefer the roast chicken while the elders are more into the steamed ones. Their chicken is very tender, somehow the gravy soaking the chicken was of darker colour as compare to other chicken rice stall’s. it was pretty salty so I told the kids to eat it with their rice. indeed it went well with the rice. the rice was very fragrant, not too oily. I guess it was worth the wait.
I drove the family to wee nam kee for dinner. We ordered half a roast chicken and half a steamed chicken. The chicken was so good that my dad and I each ate 2 plates of rice. The rice was really fragrant, it was not too clumpy or hard. I preferred the roast chicken as compared to the steamed chicken as I find the steamed chicken was a little oily probably due to its skin. The both chicken were really good, the meat was very tender. I like the gravy of the chicken, it was a tad too salty but when eaten with rice, it taste just right. Their chilli sauce also evokes your appetite, the sourness and spiciness just goes too well with the chicken and the rice. It was indeed a hearty meal.
Wee Nam Kee chicken rice is one of the famous chicken rice and I finally had the chance to try it last week since my sister suggested the place for our dinner. We ordered two plates of chicken to share between the 3 of us as well as another dishes from another stall. The chicken meat is quite tender and the sauce given for the chicken further brings out the taste of the chicken. The chilli is also very nice – spicy, sourish and not too salty. I love dipping the chicken meat into the chilli sauce for an additional kick.
The food is served almost immediately and I am pleased to see the double plate presentation: a large plate of chicken meat (I have ordered roasted chicken) and a plate of chicken rice. They have also generously placed a tray with pots of chilli sauce, sweet sauce and smashed ginger on my table. I have tried these condiments and they are very good! The smashed ginger is so outstanding that you could consume by its own. Now coming back to the main dish. I love the sight of the roasted skins gleaming with oil and also the rich fragrance of the rice. The roasted chicken meat is tender and when soaked in the light soya sauce, it is absolutely delicious! The rice however, is rather plain from my expectation.

The whole family including my mother’s extended side met up for dinner at wee nam kee for some delicious chicken rice. we ordered both the white chicken and the roasted chicken. I prefer the roasted one because I love to eat the roasted skin. The chicken is very tender, the gravy is very tasty, a little salty but goes well with the rice. the rice is not oily, it is very fragrant! I simply love it!
My experience with this chicken rice was quite different with other chicken rice. I would say the rice tasted quite rustic and has enough flavour without being over oily. Consistency in the quality of the rice is a problem that are faced by many other chicken rice stalls.
The chicken at Wee Nam Kee is the tender Non-Kampung type but still is juicy and tender.
It has never failed me to eat there every week end.
i went there for lunch with my friends. The place was qiute pack. Luckily we manage to secure a seat. We ordered roasted chicken rice, egg and char siew. I like the chicken very tender and soft, but usually they serve in cold plate, not warm enough. The soup was very tasty, rice taste well too. And the place is air condition and those waitress is very friendly and polite. The price is consider reasonable too. I will definately patron them again. Location is convenience too.
I remember eating at this place 2 years ago and at that time I did enjoy the meal. I have been passing by this area for months and suddenly yearned for chicken rice of late so thoughtcome here for it. A real disappointment as the rice not even fragrant and the texture was a bit wet. The chicken was okay and tender but didn\'tthink it\'s fantastic with this price and service. The staff were not friendly and I went up to the cashier to pay my meal and she doesn\'t seemed to acknowledge I am visible as in when I said I gave her the coins so to make it easier for her, she didn\'t even said a thank you after the whole process.Spending: Approximately SGD 5.2
I\'ve always heard raving reviews about Wee Nam Kee Chicken Rice - and when i went to try it, it did not disappoint me. Wee Nam Kee is small open air chicken rice establishment opposite velocity in novena. Its normally crowded in the evenings but food is served very fast so you need not wait too long. The chicken rice is the best part, very fragrant and when eaten with chilli, garlic and black sauce, its so good you can eat it on its own. The chicken was good because it was tender, but bad because it could have been a little less fatty.
Kang Kong
The Kang Kong was good - not spicy, liked the taste. The soup was good too, I liked the sour element of the soup.Their Chicken Rice to be honest was nice but given the service and the overall experience here I rather visit Tian Tian Chicken Rice.

One of the famous names for Chicken rice. You have to order from the cashier\'s counter and paid for your order and then go to the opposite counter with your receipt to pick up your order. And, if you look at the receipt closely, GST is chargeable even for such a packet of chicken rice.
No matter, the roasted chicken is one of the nicest around, the skin was flavorful and the juiciness still intact. Rice was soft and moist with a nice chicken stock taste. Chilli was alright though not the best to me.
If you like to have chicken rice for supper or really late dinner then this is the place. They are open till late at night.
Wee Nam Kee Chicken Rice is located at Novena across Church of St. Alphonsus. Not a lavish-looking dining place, if you ask me. However, due to its great food quality and standard and affordable pricing, it\'s always crowded with people.
It\'s often so overwhelming that if you come in pairs, it\'s hard to not have to share your table with other dine-in customers. That included my boyfriend and I.
We ordered a half steamed chicken... Well we wanted roasted but they were out because we went late (late as in 8+pm), 6 pieces of shrimp/pork dumpling soup and rice. The highlight of our meal was of course the chicken; it was just so good, lean, juicy, tender, soft and really fresh. I could tell so as it didn\'t have the \'floury\' feeling like how you\'d get sometimes at coffee shops. The chicken rice was really fragrant, each grain was so fine.
Lastly, the dumpling soup was extra ordinary too. The stuffing was generous in each piece and the soup tasted really natural and tasty, we didn\'t have to add any pepper or whatsoever.

Not a fanciful stall if you were to judge by its presence but you will be amazed by the food quality at an affordable price!
Lunch time can be quite crowded and you might have problems finding a seat!
I love their steamed white chicken that comes with 'jelly' beneath the skin and its a must try!
The texture of the chicken is smooth and silky and it definitely beats some overrated chicken rice stalls hands-down!
Every grain of their rice is fragrant and its cooked to perfection. Not too tough nor soggy, What else can you ask for ?
