As a photographer I am really excited by the future of the industry. I hear a lot of photographers worry about the recent boom of interest in photography. It is fair to say there is a lot of new photographers coming onto the scene, never before has the medium been so widely appreciated and understood; the competition, in my mind, is a positive development.

More and more I see the fusion of still and moving image. Photography in itself is a tool to convey narrative and the accessibility of video now allows the medium of digital storeytelling to really make its mark - this is something I am currently interested in.
