Set in a rainforest environment, Singapore Zoo's world famous "Open Concept” offers the opportunity to experience and be inspired by the wonders of nature. Home to over 2,500 specimens from 315 species, 29% of which are threatened, the Zoo has attained a strong reputation internationally for its conservation initiatives and breeding programmes. The 28-hectare award-winning Zoo receives about 1.6 million visitors yearly.

Adult Ticket S$33, Child Ticket S$22(3 to 12yrs old) and Senior Citizen Ticket S$15 (60yrs & above).

To reach the Zoo by public transport, the easiest way is alight at Ang Mo Kio MRT station. Then make your way to the bus interchange and take bus number 138. The last stop will be the Zoo.

Sleep With The Beasts Family Camp @ The Zoo is happening on 20 to 21 Nov 2010 (Saturday to Sunday), It is a 2-day-1-night event, at Singapore Zoological Gardens. A great family bonding activity with the kids. Maximum no. of participants: 40 (includes adults & children). Registrations are on first-come-first-served basis.
Surely, you will love the experience in visiting the Singapore Zoo. It is way better than the zoo in HCMC where I've been two months ago. In here, you'll feel like you're in the real life Amazon with the wild and beautiful creatures around you. There are so many animals for you to see and it was constructed as you're in a real rainforest, with rivers and falls everywhere. In here, you will surely feel closer to nature.
sure you will love this place because of the environment can make you fill good and you can get to enjoy there with seeing animals very near and you can enjoy the food also from the restaurant they have, Nasi Lemak and the Laksa is very nice..you can get it from Ah Meng Restaurant and Ah Meng Kopi.
