The Sicilian duo, Lino Sauro & Alex Calabro, in venture with the Garibaldi Group, is the soul of Gattopardo. This restaurant is one of the very few in Singapore specializing in Southern Italian cuisine.

Lino expertly helms the kitchen whilst Alex, previously sommelier and operations manager for Garibaldi and Gunther’s, now dedicates his time to ensure his customers at Gattopardo are well looked-after.

Based on the famous Sicilian novel by Giuseppe Tommasi di Lampedusa, "Il Gattopardo" (The Leopard), is a story of passion, love and political changes in Sicily during the Risorgimento (the Italian Unification) under General Garibaldi’s time.

Gattopardo is a place where contemporary Italian design and Mediterranean flavors meet the authentic colonial architecture of Singapore, establishing a relationship between the modern and the quaint.
