Gattopardo serves contemporary Italian and Mediterranean cuisine with a charcoal grill and wood-fired oven for baking gourmet pizzas. Diners can expect a different and refreshing style of cooking from Chef Lino, who brings his 25 years of culinary experience to the fore. With secret authentic recipes, he will tantalise your palate with the luscious taste and rustic ambience of Sicily. Lino’s ingredients are flown-in almost daily from the Mediterranean Sea, so expect the same fish that you will eat by the sea in the golf of Sorrento or on one of the Sicilian islands.


The Burrata cheese is imported directly from Andria in Puglia. There, Giovanni, the owner of a small family farm, has created a unique blend of milk to achieve a special texture for the cheese, exclusively for Gattopardo.


Lino’s pizzas are baked in a Neapolitan wood fired oven using only Italian products such as “00” flour and “San Marzano” tomatoes to lend an authentic flavour. The dough is made fresh daily, resulting in a delicious texture and is topped with both traditional and unconventional ingredients.


Guests can enjoy their pizza at the counter and interact with the chef at the same time. They can also choose their favorite seafood from the display and select their preferred cooking method - be it raw carpaccio style (at Gattopardo we call it Sicilian Sashimi!) or simply deliciously charcoal-grilled.

Specialty

Apart from the large variety of pizza and fresh seafood, the enticing menu also includes a variety of specially handmade pasta such as Busiate (Sicilian Macaroni) with dried Tuna belly and lemon juice or Orecchiette (Semolina “little ear” pasta) from Puglia with a flavorful roccoli-rabe sauce. Meat dishes include Herb-roasted Pork belly and char-grilled Cote de Boeuf, amongst others.

End the meal on a sweet note with Lino’s signature “Cannolo Siciliano”, a crispy espresso-infused wafer filled with sweet Ricotta cheese or the “Baba”, a heady rum sponge cake topped with fresh cinnamon cream.

Alex’s wine selection is the result of years of personal friendships with a number of passionate Italian winemakers. His focus is on less well-known family-owned wineries, which can give to his customers new and fascinating experiences at more reasonable prices. The walk-in wine cellar at Gattopardo allows the customers to choose their bottle amongst over 400 labels of wines exclusively from Italy.
